The Cape Horn 250 inflatable tenders are equipped with 3 independent bladders, instead of two as in the 200 models. Their bladders are inflated separately for maximum safety on the water. Unlike other brands' models, the Cape horn dinghy has a rounded shape at the back that not only saves space during storage, but also allows you to lift and put the dinghy in an upright position for quick rinsing after use.

The Cape Horn Diamond Tender has a thick slatted floor that offers high strength. It is made of 0.9 mm thick PVC canvas, which makes it abrasion and UV resistant, and with 3 layers, 2 of which are PVC and the middle one is made of reinforced fabric. This 3-layer PVC covers not only the top, but also the bottom and therefore the entire surface of contact with water, which makes it resistant and more durable over time. In addition to being robust, this fabric is available in 3 original colors!

Where most inflatable dinghies have ropes, Cape Horn decided to equip its inflatable tender with several handles to facilitate their transport and placement in water. The Diamond donghy has 6 handles: 2 are made of PVC and located on the bow for easy transport. The two handles, located on the sides of the inflatable dinghy and also made of PVC, will serve as a support when you sit inside. Finally, the last 2 handles are made of reinforced plastic and are located at the back of the dinghy.

The Cape Horn inflatable dinghy has a motor mounting plate on the transom. This plate is made of polyester with stainless steel screws. On the outside of the transom there are two stainless steel rings, with which you can hang the dinghy on the davit in your sailboat or tow it, for example. In addition, this transom includes an drain plug with a non-return valve that is attached with a rope to the transom, preventing it from falling and getting lost in the water.

This inflatable dinghy includes a fixed marinated wooden bench with a quick release system. In addition, it will be delivered with a pair of plastic oar with aluminum handle. Theses oars can be dismantled in two parts for easy transport and storage.

The Diamond has three rings located on its front part: two lateral ones that will allow, among other things, to hook the dinghy to the davit on the sailboat or to tow it, and a central transport ring with a 10-meter tow rope included.

The inflatable dinghy also has a protective strip made of reinforced plastic around its entire contour. This protective band prevents the dinghy from being damaged.

Finally, the Diamond has a paddle attachment system on each side, which can also be used as a cleat when the oar is not held in place. The model 250 even has a rowlock at the back that will allow the oar to be left on the inflatable dinghy when the dinghy is standing up during the rinse. No need to remove the oar each time!.
