Panoramic display

Humminbird's Helix fishfinders feature a 5" 256 colour display. This way, you have a compact device that still offers amazing quality with crisper, more accurate images. The high-contrast colour displays also allow for perfect readability even in the sunlight and are guaranteed to never fog up.

2D HD Fishfinder

This fishfinder uses Humminbird's Dual Beam technology. One narrow beam provides high-accuracy returns and bottom while another wider beam allows for a larger search area. The 83/200 kHz transducer gives crisp image detail up to 150 m deep.

Down Imaging

DI provides you with a fish-eye’s view of what’s happening below your boat. These amazing images are created with high frequency sound waves emitted in ultra-thin slices. The sonar returns from these waves produce a “portrait.” You’ll spot fish, reefs, timber, brush, bridge pilings, rocks, and any other structure or cover pop with great detail. Down Imaging is the most advanced technology to date in marine electronics, along with CHIRP.

Side Imaging

A Humminbird innovation, Side Imaging provides a wider view of what happens below the surface by scanning sideways.
A fishfinder featuring Side Imaging will come in handy to detect structure changes or crevasses. This technology operates with two side beams which scan the water up to 120 metres. Humminbird fishfinders featuring Side Imaging also provide Down Imaging.

The Helix 5 G2 is delivered with a robust mounting bracket which provides stability even in choppy seas. This mount also features a quick-release mechanism to remove your fishfinder from your boat in the blink of an eye.
